Jessie Waters & Simon Peter Tutchen

Jessie Waters - Christina Bertram and John Waters' sister married John's brother in law Simon Peter Tutchen around 1862 in Wellington.  They had one daughter and this is likely to be Marian Tutchen born in 1863.  I'm unsure when the daughter, Marian, died, but it was obviously as a child, as when Jessie died (on 6 November 1902) it was noted that her husband and daughter had predeceased her by at least 25 years.    


It seems that Simon Tutchen was a farmer - there is a reference to his calf prices  in newspaper reports in 1871.  


Simon died on 27 December 1872 at the age of 48 years.
